What is LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is an excellent online social network for personal and professional development, networking, and recruitment.  It allows users to present themselves in a professional manner, find a job, connect with others, join groups and follow professional conversations.

Why use LinkedIn for teaching and learning?

It is an easy way to connect with colleagues and other people working in similar industries and share knowledge and expertise.  LinkedIn can lead to job offers.
